It’s the time of year when the littlest ghouls and goblins hit the streets for some frightful fun (oh and that thing called CANDY!). For those looking for more, we’ve put together a list of some of the best haunts and howls in Toronto to scare up some fun with your little one.

Boo at the Zoo

Why it’s Spooktacular. Talk about a photo op! Complete with a creepy walk, singing, storytelling and a hay maze, children can join in the Critters and Costume parades daily and get a treat for their tricks. The Pumpkin Trail will lead children to different trick or treat stations. Children under 12 in costumes are free when accompanied by an adult paying regular admission. Don’t forget your camera!

When it’s On. October 20 & 21 and 27 &  28, 2018

Whittamore’s Pumpkinland

Why it’s Spooktacular. Located a short drive North of the city, Whittamore’s offers pumpkins, baked goods, fresh produce and a scary good time. A corn maze, hay wagon rides, slides, a spider web tire climb and pumpkin cannon show will entertain your kids and get them into the Halloween spirit.

When it’s On. Runs until October 31, 2018

Howling Hootenanny at Black Creek Pioneer Village

Why it’s Spooktacular. Enjoy Halloween in one of the city’s most historic villages. Trick-or-Treat around the Village! Decorate your own pumpkin. Enjoy a performance on the main stage. Get up close and personal at the Creepy Creature Show. Dare yourself to enter the Haunted Maze
