Irina Fortey is the artist behind the creative, contemporary lifestyle portraits of Irina Photography. Irina specializes in contemporary portraiture of babies, children and families. Her clean and simple style focuses on the connections made between each subject. Natural expressions and imagery that showcase personality and individuality can be seen through her work.
What inspired you to become a photographer?
I’ve believed in memories ever since I was a small girl, when I would browse through family albums and enjoy looking at the details of the past. There is a magical feeling that happens when you are able relive a moment. This process of connecting and showcasing memories has allowed me to focus in a career where I can offer this process to others.
How would you characterize your style?
My work is often described as authentic, natural, vibrant, candid and artistic.
Who are your clients and what should they expect?
I am very relaxed by nature and I bring that to each photo session. Clients who choose to work with me enjoy my relaxed self and experience a stress free image capture. My main focus is on capturing authentic images of families and children.
Anything else to share?
There is a synergy between my photography and my life. My passion is my craft, and I want others to know that I put my heart into my work. I believe in honesty and integrity.
