Annya Miller is a portrait photographer specializing in maternity, newborns and babies. Working from a cozy home studio located in Pickering, just East of Toronto, the focus is on creating stunning art pieces in a fun and stress free environment.
What inspired you to become a photographer?
My mother was a wonderful photographer who captured and preserved our childhood memories and inspired me to do the same for others. I have a strong creative side, but wanted to improve the realism in the portraits I drew – a camera solved that issue!
How would you characterize your style?
Genuine, classic, and clean art with a lot of fun thrown in! I take great pride in my work and love to create timeless portraits that preserve all of the tiny details that otherwise might be forgotten over time.
Who are your clients and what should they expect?
My clients are awesome and varied, sharing a strong appreciation for photography with a desire to create and preserve memories of what they love most – their children. Clients can expect a relaxed portrait session with a professional, warm photographer. I love my job and it shows in every session.
Anything else to share?
Friends and family tire of hearing me say I love my job, but – I LOVE MY JOB! I love building relationships, watching families grow, the look on a new parent’s face, making friends with tiny people, coaxing giggles and getting silly. Like I said, I love my job.
